Frame Type Forging Manipulator

The video shows a 3150-ton Open Die Forging Press and an 8-ton Forging Manipulator, both manufactured by Anyang Forging Press Company.

Forging charger is a mechanical-hydraulic mixed type machine.,it is used to transport cold and hot ingots discs and rings in open-die forging plants, ring mills, blooming mills and similar works. According to the types of the manipulative workpiece, they fall into clamp-support type, clamp-hold type, fork type. It can do the functions: manipulator walk,upside of the manipulator turn around, clamp rod flex,clamp rod lifting.

The frame manipulator is divided into two structural forms: the frame type linear manipulator and the frame type rotary manipulator. It is mainly used for clamping shaft forgings and blanks with free forging hammer or free forging press, which can greatly improve the production efficiency and forging quality, reduce the labor intensity of workers, and realize the mechanization of forging production.

Frame type rotating movement manipulator actions include manipulator travelling, front and rear side of clamping rod goes up and down, clamping device incline, clamping head rotating, and tong open and close, and frame rotating movement.

Mobile Forging Manipulators are suitable for the precise handling of small to very large ingots while forging. In addition, they can be used for transporting the ingots between furnaces and forging presses or hammers.
